U.S. Search Engine Rankings, October 2009

Comscore has released its monthly analysis (for the month of October 2009) on the U.S. web search.
Google search engine is always far more used by 65.4% (+0.5% compared to September), followed by Yahoo! With 18% (-0.8% compared to September), Bing with 9.9% (+0.5 %), Ask with 3.9% (unchanged from September), AOL with 2.9% (-0.1%).
In October 2009 the United States alone were performed to 14.309 billion web searches, up 3% compared to 13.836 billion searches conducted in September. Of these, 14.309 billion 9.362 billion searches are done through Google sites (+4% compared to 8.975 billion searches in September), 2.571 billion through the sites of Yahoo! (-1%, 2.6 trillion in September), 1412 billion through the sites of Microsoft (+8%, 1.305 billion in September), 412 million through the sites of AOL (-1%, 416 million in September).
